What is Home Watch?
The National Home Watch Association defines Home Watch as “a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues.” Our accreditation with the NHWA means we uphold their guidelines on every visit, giving clients confidence in the quality and thoroughness of our service.

What is BAM Home Watch?
We are an insured, bonded, and NHWA-accredited Home Watch and Concierge company located in Colorado. Our services include thorough on-site inspections to identify current or potential issues while your property is vacant, providing a physical presence that remote alarm systems can’t offer. We also handle many requests on your behalf, coordinating repairs and services to keep your home safe and well-maintained.

Are you a house sitter?
We are more than house sitters. Our core service consists of scheduled, periodic home visits following a detailed inspection template agreed upon with you. Whether weekly or bi-weekly, we carefully monitor your property, ensuring it remains exactly as you left it and providing peace of mind while you’re away.

What are your credentials?
BAM Home Watch proudly displays the Accredited banner of the National Home Watch Association. Our team has been vetted and trained, and is bonded, insured, and knowledgeable to provide trusted protection for your home. We also follow the NHWA’s Code of Ethics, reflecting our commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Are you a property manager?
A home watch service is different from a property manager. While property managers handle rent, tenants, and other landlord responsibilities, a home watch service focuses solely on monitoring and protecting your property—without managing tenants or finances.

Are you a home inspector?
Although our home watch professionals are Certified Master Inspectors with Brick and Mortar Home Inspections, our home watch services are distinct from home inspections. BAM Home Watch focuses on monitoring, checking, and protecting your home while it’s unoccupied, providing a regular presence and early detection of potential issues. With our background as certified home inspectors, we bring a unique advantage—our in-depth knowledge of a home’s systems and components assures a more thorough and informed watch.

My alarm company provides security for my home. What value do you add?
Alarm systems monitor entry points and fire alerts, but they can’t detect issues like broken pipes, mold, pests, or unauthorized occupants. Our home watch service identifies these problems—or the risk of them—and notifies you promptly, allowing you to address concerns before they become major issues.

We have a neighborhood watch program. Doesn’t that do the same thing?
Neighborhood watch programs are generally passive and don’t offer the hands-on attention your property needs. BAM Home Watch goes further, performing detailed interior and exterior checks to ensure your home is thoroughly monitored and protected.

If I need coordination with contractors doing work on my home can you help?
BAM Home Watch offers on-site access services billed at an hourly rate. We kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice to schedule our team.

Can you help me with home maintenance services?
